Aladdin “Prince of the Airwayz”, a native Washingtonian and on-air radio and tv personality, is entertainment’s next big thing. Aladdin earned his B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Bowie State University in 2007, and then went straight to work.
While in D.C., Aladdin flipped his initial position as an intern at CBS Radio’s WPGC 95.5FM into a producer for programs like, The Hometeam with DJ Flexx, national recording artist The Lil’ Mo Show, Big Tigger’s Show, and the legendary Donnie Simpson Morning Show. In addition to production, Aladdin was able to shine on the airways as an on-air host.
Wanting to further his on-air talents, Aladdin became the voice of Orlando as he was heard weeknights on Cox Radio’s Power 95.3FM. Aladdin has also been featured on Sirius/XM as co- host of Shade 45 Big Sundays and in music videos Where They Do That At and Loyalty. In addition to hosting on the airways, Aladdin has hosted numerous events such as DC’s annual Summer Spirit Festival and the Sprite Step Off Competition. Now you can hear Aladdin on Radio One’s 93.9FM WKYS
Aladdin’s shiny accolades rest on his foundation of community support and giving back.
As a member of Teens Against the Spread of AIDS (TASA – an arm of the Children’s National Medical Center that provides innovative approaches to HIV prevention for the youth), Aladdin
